For 45 years, Urban Outreach Foundation has been proud to offer an opportunity for pastors, Christian Educators and ministry leaders to come together to enhance their Christian Education programs, personal development and network. The 2009 theme, “Refreshed and Prepared,” will explore traditional and innovative methods to engage and enrich the ministry experience in keynotes, workshops, and general sessions. As a conference attendee, you will have the opportunity to acquire key strategies to plan and teach, learn effective methods to lead your congregants in transformational worship, gain a renewed insight on the importance of personal development, and return refreshed and prepared to align and motivate your ministry staff and volunteers. The call to share God’s Word is no small task. We understand the importance of creating an environment that promotes the engagement of participants. To that end, the Urban Outreach Foundation Conference is designed to arm you with critical information, best practices, and dialogues that will help you optimize your ministry and worship experience. Again, welcome and thank you for your support of the Urban Outreach Foundation. We look forward to seeing you there!

| MissionThe Urban Outreach Foundation was created to serve churches and church leaders, primarily in the African American community, with quality Christian education productions and services to support and enhance the effectiveness of their ministries and to train and develop leaders.
The Urban Outreach Foundation is not affiliated with any particular denominational group, allowing them to serve and include virtually all churches in their constituencies. The Urban Outreach National Conference for Christian Education and Leadership Development is designed to promote God’s Kingdom in urban communities by addressing issues of leadership and Christian education to strengthen local churches.
