For 45 years, the Urban Outreach Foundation has been bringing together Christian leaders and educators for an exciting time of Christian Education programs, personal development, and networking.

Each year the conference team works diligently to provide a schedule of workshops and plenary sessions that address relevant topics within the African American Christian community. As we worked to plan to the 2009 Conference, we prepared to address topics on a variety of subjects including creating healthy marriages, utilizing best practices to teach God’s Word, and learning how to be refreshed and prepared as Christian educators. But we found ourselves challenged with one resounding question: “What about our youth?”

To that end, the Urban Outreach Foundation has decided to dedicate the 2009 conference events to youth, those who work with youth, and their families. On Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Oak Lawn Hilton, the Urban Outreach Foundation and UMI will host an evening of FREE events designed to allow you to network, discuss relevant topics, and be uplifted through music and entertainment.
