Enhance your skills and knowledge of fun ways that children learn about Jesus and how to worship by storytelling and engaging in creative activities. You will make your own musical instruments that children can make and play during Sunday School or in Children’s Church for 2- to 4-year-olds.

2. Traveling with Jesus, Part 1
Children like excitement and adventure, so come and learn how to bring excitement and adventure to some of the miracle stories of Jesus through the Bible to some of the miracles that Jesus performed. Also learn how you can retell these stories to involve children in grades K–3.

Whether your church is a mega church or a beginning church, money and resources are keys to the type of technology that you can afford. This workshop will focus on how to budget for technology in the church. A look will be taken at what types of technology will work for what budgets and resources (people power and structure are included) in various types of churches.

As churches recognize the value of visual items in worship, church leaders must decide how far to go. Decisions include but are not limited to what type of equipment to purchase: cameras, screens, DVD playback equipment, and sound systems. This workshop will provide tools for making decisions and demonstrations of how to determine what your church structure can support.

Once the decision has been made to incorporate visuals into the worship experience, it is imperative to create an organized way of presenting them. How do you form a media worship team? How does the team work with the pastor? This workshop will show how the team is created and demonstrate tools that will help to make worship visually effective.

Where are the hymns of old in the church? As we grow and change with the times, the music and songs in the church have changed. Explore the changes and how they affect our faith and the church.

6. Hip-Hop & the Next Generation
We talk about the effects of hip-hop now, but the next generation is already impacted. Discuss and share practical ways to minister to the present generation and the next generation about the Word of God and in their everyday lives.
